I’m truly excited to invite you to my next Solo Exhibition:

“Awakening in Color” – The Art of Antonio Wehrli 

at Galerie EPES / Stadtmauergalerie in Darmstadt, Germany.

Colors carry a quiet magic. 

Vivid, saturated hues — especially warm yellows and oranges, bold reds and luminous turquoise — can make something inside us resonate. They lift the mood, awaken joy and optimism, and sometimes make us feel more alive, more open, more awake. Light, radiant colors tend to raise us up. Intense, flowing colors touch us more deeply.

My love for color began years ago in the mountains of China.

I still remember the exact moment: the fog suddenly lifted and green came rushing in like a living energy. A little further along the path, an emerald-turquoise lake appeared — so pure and unreal, as if nature itself had woven a spell. In that instant the world didn’t just look different — it felt different. Something inside me awakened.

This is the feeling I capture in my centrifugal color explosions.

With flowing Tai-Chi movements I set the colors in motion, allowing them to communicate and exchange energy with one another. Through the pure force of movement and the dense layering of pigment, what emerges is not a static image but a living burst — a visual pulse that moves from the painting directly into the heart of the viewer.
