After over five years, I have finally finished a new oil painting: oils have found their way back to my studio. My newest Panda artwork: It needs another 10 months of drying time, but the act of painting is finished. Working across two floors - acrylics below, oils above - has opened new creative possibilities. The tactile sensation of oil paints, their thickness and malleability, brings a different, new but old dimension to my art. My Panda series carries this renewed passio

On November 22, 2025, I'm hosting another studio party. This time, my neighbor Dimitri Horta will also be opening his doors. We'll start with drinks at 5:00 PM. After a short introduction by the artists, we'll open the buffet at 6:00 PM with salads, fondue, and raclette. Grilled sausages will also be available. Please let me know if you can make it. ARTe art fair Wiesbaden was great. Over 5000 visitors came through the fair and likely over 2000 through my booth which was located next to the music band and the Champagne bar. Art enthusiasts were attracted by the two figures created by Tannous and the beautiful works on the outside walls.  Once inside the booth, they admired the works of Liming Fu, MARCK and me, Antonio Wehrli.
