Yesterday I returned from China. I spent the first three days in Shanghai, where I met friends and visited museums and galleries. At the Yuehu Sculpture Park, I saw Masayuki Koorida's impressive "Stone Forest" for the first time. A kind of modern Stonehenge. After over five years, I have finally finished a new oil painting: oils have found their way back to my studio. My newest Panda artwork: It needs another 10 months of drying time, but the act of painting is finished. Working across two floors - acrylics below, oils above - has opened new creative possibilities. The tactile sensation of oil paints, their thickness and malleability, brings a different, new but old dimension to my art. My Panda series carries this renewed passio

On November 22, 2025, I'm hosting another studio party. This time, my neighbor Dimitri Horta will also be opening his doors. We'll start with drinks at 5:00 PM. ARTe art fair Wiesbaden was great. Over 5000 visitors came through the fair and likely over 2000 through my booth which was located next to the music band and the Champagne bar.
