Review: ARTe art fair Wiesbaden - new project: live streaming

ARTe art fair Wiesbaden was great. Over 5000 visitors came through the fair and likely over 2000 through my booth which was located next to the music band and the Champagne bar. Art enthusiasts were attracted by the two figures created by Tannous and the beautiful works on the outside walls. 

Once inside the booth, they admired the works of Liming Fu, MARCK and me, Antonio Wehrli. While resting on the benches nearby the Champagne bar, they admired the works of Rudolf Butz, Pulan Zhang and Tannous. 

Many visitors came by to ask questions, and several works found a new home.

A collector enthusiastically told me about his NFT collection.

I created several NFTs, phygital NFTs in 2022. Phygital meaning that the artwork exists digital as an NFT on the blockchain and physical as the artwork on the wall. In 2022 I connected the two together and sold them as a pair. 

Since 2022, I've been thinking it would be great to have an "A-W" token. Back then, creating a token required programming skills, so it was just an idea I didn't pursue further. Since 2024, there have been platforms that make it easy to create tokens—mostly memecoins. But creating a token with no utility in a sea of ​​newly created tokens seemed pointless to me. Recently, however, I discovered the possibility of creating token-backed "livestreams" on pump.fun.

This gave me the idea to finally do it: create a token and live stream how I paint in the studio to give the token meaning. It will be a meme coin, but with utility in the form of entertainment, information sharing, learning, and more to come in the future. I'll be painting my LP Centrifugals live during the livestreams. Anyone with an internet connection can join in and follow my process. I'll send the web address shortly after the stream starts. This way, you can enjoy the colors, the process, and the joy of my creation.

During the first livestream, I will give away one of the live-painted artworks! If all goes well, I will give away one artwork in each livestream.

For each LP-Centrifugal, I will create an NFT on the Solana Blockchain. The artwork given to the person on the live stream will be the NFT, which can be exchanged for the real, physical artwork. In order to receive the physical artwork, one will have to burn the NFT in a specific timeframe given by me. Like this I know that the owner of the NFT lives at the address he or she has given me by private message on Instagram, X.com or by email. I will then ship the artwork to the happy collector.

I will start listing the NFTs for 2 SOL each, which equals to about USD 400 at the moment and which is below my retail price.

With this new idea, I will be creating NFTs again, having my own token, and doing live streams for everyone. All good things come in threes.

There will be a lot to do, a learning curve for me and others, an interesting challenge, but above all, it will be a lot of fun!
