The next exhibition at Antonio Wehrli Art Space in Schwanden GL, Switzerland will be "Von Bergen und Menschen" by Swiss artist Werner Stauffacher. From September 3 to October 9, 2022, around 30 works by the Glarner artist can be viewed in the gallery.
The opening of the exhibition will take place on Saturday, September 3rd 2022 from 3pm to 5pm.

Werner Stauffacher, born in 1952, lives in Zurich and Matt, Switzerland. He has been painting and drawing for over 40 years. For a long time he worked in studios in Zurich and since 2015 Ennenda, Glarus. His works are mostly oil on canvas or mixed media; small, medium and large formats. He also works on drawings in oil chalk and colored pencils on paper. His subjects are figures and heads, mountain fragments and mountain shapes.
With apparently simple and swift strokes, Stauffacher conjures up expressive personalities on his canvases. A colorful game of masses and individuals.
In addition to the figures, a selection of mountainscapes will be on display.
